Chase Bank Wire Transfer

Wire transfer is the fastest mode of receiving money in your Chase Bank account. You can receive money from within USA (Domestic Wire Transfers) or from a foreign country (International wire transfer). The transaction is initiated by the sender through a financial institution, however, you need to provide your banking details to the sender for successful transfer of money.

International Wire Transfer to Chase Bank

International wire transfer is one of the fastest way to receive money from foreign countries. Banks use SWIFT network for exchanging messages required for performing international wire transfer. Usually, the receiving bank (in USA) and the sending bank (in other country) need to have a direct arrangement in place to start the swift transfer – this is sometimes referred to as correspondent banking.

Note: Banks in USA don’t use IBAN account number.

Why is Columbus OH? I was told before to use New York one. Does that matter?

    WARNING. this information is INCORRECT!!
I got screwed really bad by this website as it delayed an urgent wire transfer which ended up not coming in on time because the international wire transfer information here is INCORRECT.
I recommend calling Chase themselves for this information if you are not sure.

The Bank address is New York, not Ohio. And the routing number is the one in your account. the 02100021 is ONLY for domestic.

Bank Address: 270 Park Avenue New York, New York 10017
    SWIFT Code: CHASUS33
    Bank Name: JP Morgan Chase

  • Kurt Prosser

Yes, this article is not correct. I was told by Chase that the routing number needs to be for your state. We are in Columbus, Ohio, so we needed the Ohio routing number.
